Might be old news to some but...
I just noticed while reading some of the news that they depict recent developments in forums RP. So are they loaded from the server?
If so is anyone else besides Igiss writing those news? I tend to think so because their style varies. Sometimes stories are written in first or third person, like giving a report what happened. "We are going to drive them out..." instead of "We are going to drive them out", said one source inside Corsair camp.
Interesting if the news are really updated regularly since they make them worthwhile reading...

News gets updated every version-release, thats the only way i think.
The reports however can be in multiple views, all depends on what type of news it is i guess

As Mr. Masters said in his last post, I don't think it is possible.
Each of the user's files in Freelancer would have to be re-written as you played the game on the server.

And if some kind of program did that that was incorporated into the mod, it would probably need a separate port, use more server bandwidth, cause lag for both server and user...General connection problems and more chaos!
