Opening the Wild ID. - Wraga - 06-25-2013

First of all, I've tried to find appropriate answers about this thing, but if you know more than me, please send me a link about it.

The question is the following:
  • Is there any plan to open the Wild ID for public use?

The reason behind this question is the Nomad ID and other "closed" faction IDs what were opened before.

Opening the Wild ID could be the same process like the Nomad one with the limited ZOI and other restrictions for sure.

Btw, I would like to open a poll about the question to explore the community's behaviour about the idea.

Thanks

No, they're too good for us mortals to allow even a normal recruitment. It's okay.

The difference is, that it was the K'Hara's wish to open the Nomad ID.

Their ZOI is already limited.

As far as I know there are no plans of doing such at the moment. Public Nomad ID still an on-going experiment and it's not exactly a resounding success so far, but not a complete failure either, so I think time will tell, but personally I reckon it's too early at the moment. There are several more important factors and differences, so a plain copy carbon of how it was done with Nomad ID would not work.

Also, as it was said earlier, public Nomad ID was a proposal from Keepers (before change of membership and rebranding into K'Hara) to administration team that has spend years and heated debates upstairs. When Wild ID will be opened or whether it will ever be open I do not know. But I know that it will not become open simply because of public demand.

I dont really see how this would do any good.

If I may say, open Wilde seems stranger than open Nomad. Even though both have very specific guidelines shouldn't RP-ing a possessed human more easy, than alien which uses emotions to communicate. On the other hand it is more likely to encounter a Nomad in the Omicrons, than it is to encounter a Wilde anywhere else. The Wilde, though fierce and bloodthirsty, usually work in the shadows and attack only when sure of the win.

Opening them to the public would lead to a lot of activity in sectors that aren't that active, I think a lot of groups could benefit from this, but it could undermine their lore and make them from the Mysterious Wilde, to the the guys who just pewd my face off for the fifth time today.

I would like to see the ID opened, but the ZOI limitations would be very strange. If it is to be open, personally I think it should only be restricted to snubs. In the "Leak of the Day" thread there were three Wilde restarts included, in three different Houses. Would that mean that there are going to be needed three different IDs to restrict there ZOI?

Hmm, my mistake then. I thought the Wilde faction restricted their ZOI like the Aoi Iseijin did.

Wait what, Wilde being sneaky and attacking "from the shadows"? That's impossible, they don't log in order to avoid recruiting people.
