I guess this has been discussed already and I've come to a solution somehow...
Nomad Turret Nomads 1,650 825 2.00
2.00 refire rate 1 650 hull damage, I actually would like to see those stats on the Liner Turrets, maybe 1500 instead of 1650, which would be realy nice! I don't know if someone already requested these, so I'm sorry if this is a double thread.

So basically, you want transport turrets that are much more powerful than the ones we have now?
Liners and battletransports already have massive firepower. They do not need gunboat-class weapons.
Edit: I'd also like a Liberty Siege Cruiser Forward gun on my Hayabusa, but that ain't gonna happen either.

Actually it wont mean anything since they have the same slow speed. GBs and snubs would dodge it, while cruisers and bigger would rape it np and the burst 1.00 gun would still be better choice just because of its surprise burst dmg and small chance to instant-kill snubs.
In general I am in favour of other approach towards the transport class. Introducing MK2 versions of boosted transport guns and shields that have a way better DPS/Speed/Capacity on the same DPE but take more cargo space. For example better shield for 300-500 space and 100 space per better turret.

Liners have terrible firepower for their size, and at one point Liners -did- have GB weapons. Don't let the large amount of guns fool you, those are pea shooters stretched across a battleship sized hull.
