LWB - RM - Wilde event - Jansen - 07-22-2013
This is an idea for an event that could include the LWB, the RM, the RFP and the Wilde factions.
Background:
While taking care of one of the very few remaining fields, that have not been purchased by Synth Foods yet, a farmer finds a strange rock. Due to the unusual nature of this rock and the overall insecurity of dealing with strange things, thats rather natural to farmers, he calls the LWB, because thats who you would call if you dont know what to do with such a thing, right?
The LWB then visits said farmer and realizes that he found a nomad artifact, but sadly the LWB lacks the scientific personnel and experience in dealing with these, so they decide to deliver it to their Hessian allies, who definitely know what to do with this thing.
After leaving Stuttgart with the artifact on board of a Humpback Freighter, they head directly to the Omega 11 Jumphole in Stuttgart, a few LWB fighters escort the Humpback, because the LWB has made the experience that the steering wheels of these things break rather easily, so an escort is necessary in order to survive out there.
But as life plays, the escorts IFFs get picked up by a Police patrol, who begin to chase them directly after spotting them, due to their problems with satisfying technology and staff they also call the Military, because the Military has a Battleship parked in Stuttgart, so they can help when they are called.
Shortly before the Military arrives, the Humpbacks steering wheel breaks and the LWB has to stop in order to fix it, the fight for survival begins.
Unfortunately for all the humans involved, the Wilde appear to have an informant within the LWBs ranks and thus received information about the artifact transfer.
The Wilde, decide to act to ensure that nobody, but them is able to take this artifact back home.

These might have to be altered depending on how people like them and how many sign up for this. But I guess this should be largely balanced this way.

We can change that depending on peoples schedules, but it would likely not happen before the first week in August then.

good call on a freighter instead of a transport so the guy flying it has some fun at least. sadly I'm not back from work by then so my catastrophic piloting won't be on show to all
edit: actually may be back in time, I'd have to use one of the shared ships though, I think there's a Thor or something

Sadly not, packing my stuff took longer then expected.
We will have to do it in the first August week, maybe some more people find the time to sign up for it then.
You can also start it without me if you find enough people in the meantime, Ktayn will be your go-to-and-talk guy in that case.
