What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - Lythrilux - 07-29-2013 I'm thinking along the lines of the eagle, it's swift and it's quite simplistic really. What do you guys think? RE: What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - Rodnas - 07-29-2013 According to statistics from jsut about the moment the nice statistics were killed off the Eagle and the Sabre were by far far far the most common snubs and i would put that into the "swarm intelligence" folder, there is a good reason everyone uses them ( ok, availability is one of them, too)- they are simply good ships. For a generalization: the faster the ship, the easier it is to pull off things that would require more skill with a slower ship, thus gives you a slight boost ahead if you are a beginner facing of more experienced players in slower or more specialized craft. RE: What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - Omicron - 07-29-2013 Any civilian VHF except Virage. You will find Raven Talor bit heavier than rest but it sports heaviest powercore among generic ships and centered weapon mounts. RE: What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - sindroms - 07-29-2013 Hmmm, I would actually suggest trying out light fighters. Their strength is survivalability and great top speed, allowing you to get a feel of your surroundings and learn dodging mines before you try something heavier. RE: What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - Zen_Mechanics - 07-29-2013 Raven, Odin ~, Eagle blows ~ You have more chances to hit when you have centered weapons, and I would still take Odin. Edit : Odin with Sunslayer torp on PVP = Instant kill ~ RE: What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - Vrabcek - 07-29-2013 Sabre. RE: What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - Durandal - 07-29-2013 This completely depends on the player, really. But as a general rule you'll be best with what you learn to fly in. In terms of raw stats the Eagle and Wraith are the best ships currently in the game, but neither are particularly easy to use correctly. Stop looking at the tech and start looking at yourself is my advice to anyone having issues in combat. Skill always takes priority, and once you reach a certain level you'll realize the tech you use mostly just depends on aesthetic preference. RE: What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - belarusich - 07-29-2013 Eagle is fast, sabre has good strafe titan, templar are good for jousting RE: What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - Spike Seadra - 07-29-2013 Sabre is a shot gun type ship. So 2-3 refire guns work on it mostly, Altough i figured it out too by checking 4 and 3 refire guns, they were useless but improved my skills a bit. Then i tested 2 refire guns which worked a lot, altough there are different type of guns, even for 2 refires. I am good with Claymores, BloodStones, DarkBlossoms but not good with rail gun code weapons like IRON HAMMERs etc. But Eagle is more agile than Sabre. RE: What is the most user friendly snub, ever? - Rodnas - 07-29-2013 If the OP is looking for beginners ships and is searching his style, may i shamelessly self-promote this thread, where you can find comparisons according to raw data so he can self evaluate what is important for him and what is not? Also it helps to x out commonly percieved errors ![]() Take it with a grain of salt, especially the weighted formulas- and take into account the ships exact shape not only its size and you can learn a thing or two from datacrawling - of course advantages like this( think sabre holes!) or centered guns are not listed... Edit: Spike: Eagle is even quicker than many LFs
