Gallic Anti-Snubs loadout? Help. - Peter_Derpington - 07-31-2013
Hello there!
As mentionned in the title, I'm in deep need of a anti-snub fighter, to be accurate, I'd like a fighter specialized in bomber assaultry to protect a larger fleet. I tried so far the Lynx, Cougar and even the Serval but none fit my tastes. Feel free to explain me which ship, with which weapons would be the best for a Gallian Navy.

All 3 are decent, just takes a bit of practice. I'm going to assume by the timing of this that you're Alfred Marcus? If so, sorry about SNACing you, flying at a bomber in a straight line is not clever
A Lynx with Grand Culverin's works well if you can aim. The Carbines are a bit poo admittedly.

A Lynx with Grand Culverin's works well if you can aim. The Carbines are a bit poo admittedly.

Right in the face, aye I'm Alfred Marcus. Honestly I was totaly frustrated when I noticed my musketoon weren't able to damage your hull. I was like : "Bullshit, it can't hurt him." So I just jousted you even if I knew I'd die. But yeah Lynx with Culverin would work. Anyway tonight I'll have a bit of farming with teamates for a Cruiser. Keep that for you, because none of them check the forums, only one of our cruiser is able to play correctly.
Anyway thanks for the tip!

You did well, dodging and running in a bomber is hard but they have large hulls so you need good aim to drain them. Your cruiser kept following which was causing a bigger problem for me.
If you get a cruiser, learn to turret-zoom/steer. It's your best friend for fending enemy cruisers off and with the right weaponry, you can fend off bombers too. A group of them however is very difficult to beat unless you have fighter/bomber support as well.
