I've seen a few vids on youtube and I think a thread (which) I can not find about graphic improvement mods/packs whatever.
There is also a thread warning about using them cause most if not all will like, autoban you.
Talk to me about that.

The thread you're looking for is this, I think: http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=98156&highlight=swag Certain graphic improvement mods can give you some trouble (like the lighting mod, which was once approved, but then was forbidden after one of the updates). The Swag Pack hasn't been giving any trouble to me so far.
As far as I know, the .ini files shouldn't be tampered with (the only exception would be enbseries.ini, which contains the settings for ENB Series, a separate mod compatible with more games than just FL). I heard that some texture packs may also cause autoban (but that's probably because they modify .ini files as well).
