Why don't you RP a mass escape into some out of the way sector. A1 perhaps:P
Pretend the Nomads developed some kind of cloak or something...

Well if you did that then the modders would know where to find you. (Thats why i never did it during my encounters with them)

The trouble is, you just can't role-play these situations, it ain't possible...unless you have half of the population ganging up on them. I tried in a Luxury Liner against a single modder and despite killing them two dozen times (yes, they sucked that bad, they killed me once), the RP was still an almighty failure. To be honest, I put their relentless termination at a higher priority than RP, maybe against the rules at times but it was necessary.

And this guy was hitting people from 8k away, and i saw no projectiles, only when i got closer. So that explains the whole random deaths with no one near or no projectiles seen.

The whole role play thing was a joke. There is no way you could get all on NY to cooperate in moving as a group to a sector the modders don't know about.
If you can, talk to them nicely, ask them to leave or stop modding. If you can't say anything nice, don't bother!
They will retaliate in more modding :rolleyes:

It was easy to RP during the crisis. It was actually a lot of fun. I was in character the whole time the modders were killing folks, with the one exception were I posted that I posted a report on the forums about it.
"Attention NY. Please remain calm."
"A massive solar storm is affecting Manhattan."
"Recomend all civilians remain docked."
"Please remain calm."
"All ships are advised to leave NY system if possible."
"A dark matter storm is passing through NY. Please remain calm."
"Manhattan orbit is under quarantine. Please reroute all shipping."
"Attention NY. Please remain calm."
Korrd show up and sucks the hacker in to a black hole.
"Attention NY. A rouge black hole has been detected passing through NY."
"Please remain calm."
"Sensors have confirmed the black hole has left NY and is in route to the great barrier."
"Sensors have confirmed the Black hole has left Liberty and is passing into the great barrier."
"Thank you for your cooperation during this time of emergency."
