CR stance towards free Rheinland - Blodo - 07-12-2008 Message to: Java station, Tau-23 Comm ID: Flottekapitan Kaspar Meisnerr, Red Hessian Army Location: *blocked*, Dresden It's about time the Colonial Remnant has declared it's stance towards the Rheinland revolution. Yesterday, during our attack on the blasted Corsairs of Omicron Gamma, two colonial fighter craft suddenly joined the battle and engaged our forces. An ion storm came soon after, so quite fortunately they didn't manage to affect the course of the attack at all. However, I am more than concerned about this. It would appear that the Remnant has turned into a Corsair pawn overnight. Of course, we cannot let Corsair supporters roam freely in our area of operation. However, being the reasonable person that I am, I decided to base my decision on your answer. So here's your chance: explain your actions and be quick about it. The miners of Rheinland demand answers. Regards, Meisnerr CR stance towards free Rheinland - Muleo - 07-12-2008 0230, Java station, Tau-23. *Some miners get confused* "Sir we're picking up a transmission... something about free Rheinland and Corsairs?" "What? How are we involved with Corsairs?" "We're not Sir..." "Then why the hell was it addressed to us?" "Don't know Sir, whoever this Meisnerr is, he seems to be angry at the Colonials, you know the Viper flying miners at Tau 44?" "Ah.. idiot must have entered the wrong coordinates when sending the message, *sigh* well let's forward it to the Colonials then." "Right sir, forwarding.. now." Intel messed up yet again and not only let us lose three fighters en-route to the battle zone, but engage your unit without even caring to identify your ships. All intel we had was: "Hostile fores invading Gamma, Corsairs need help". Our stance towards the Hessian rebels is and was as usual - neutrality. The exchange of gunfire (If any occured) was a result of intelligence incompetence. Belzen out And quite ooc - the moment I saw yer tags, I almost told my wing errr woman? to fire upon Outcasts only. The whole thing crashed before I finished typing. when it comes to diplo, the basis is IMG. They let Hessians land on Freistadt and have common ancestry. So we don't change that. Our only beef is with the Outcasts, who willing to keep everyone away from their smuggling runs, vaporize IMG, GMG and whoever's misforutunate enough to see a Sabre. The IMG was unfortunate enough to have mining operations juuust where their Cardamine-filled ships fly. CR stance towards free Rheinland - Blodo - 07-13-2008 Message to: Gunstar Iblis Comm ID: Flottekapitan Kaspar Meisnerr, Red Hessian Army Location: *blocked*, Dresden Well, it is good that that is cleared up then. We, the Hessians, have no trouble with the IMG and never will, however I would ask your intelligence officers that they do all in their power to contain such incidents before the confrontation takes place. I would not presume to conduct diplomacy for the Outcasts or their smuggler cronies, that is their business and their alone. However during a delicate operation such as an attack on the lair of our grave enemies such actions put us in a rather difficult position. While I ordered my pilots to hold fire on IMG vessels the moment they appeared on our close range scanners, had the ion storm not relocated you somewhere else there would be a decision to make that could affect the outcome of the attack. I would prefer not to make such a decision. Surely you understand. Let us make sure such a misunderstanding does not happen again.
