So you'll be happy to know that Blain Spike is almost certainly dead. If he's not, he will be soon, I'm sure. Someone will stuff a grenade in that big, never-shut mouth of his.

You'll also be happy to know that the old farts -- myself and Escher -- have taken over the Raiders again. Sensibility has been returned to command.

And thirdly, you'll be happy to know that the Raiders no longer deal in the so-called Orange Dream. We're starting to get into the Blood Diamond business. More profitable, less addictive, less likely to get us shot. Except, y'know, in Rheinland. But who cares about them right?

I've sent you this transmission to update you on the status of the Raiders and offer to end any stupid hostilities that Spike's dumb arse started between us and the Rogues. We won't shoot you and yours, but unfortunately we cannot directly assist you in Liberty except against Rheinlandic threats -- and Xenos, because to hell with the Xenos -- due to a very diplomatically tense situation we are in.
