Freelancer mod for Sins of a Solar Empire - Savas - 08-21-2013

Was on Moddb to find some sexay mods for Total War games and ended up finding this. First it's nice to see that there is still people generating FL based content (Even though it's not an FL mod), and second this looks boss as hell - they're even porting in vanilla buildings.

Also I wouldn't doubt there's already a thread about this but screw it.

And yes it looks frigging great, I've always wanted to have Rhein and Lib crash their fleets into eachother without 3 fps. Here's hoping he keeps development going.

Cool. I've long been thinking Sins would be the ideal setup for porting Freelancer into a strategy game.

If they release it, it might be cool to make some Disco related maps and scenarios, like Liberty vs Rheinland or something. Trying to put Freelancer's entire map into Sins would be enormously janky because of the way systems work in the game, but it could be fun to make some smaller and more focused maps.
