Ive notice CCP the makers of EVE Online and Dust514 are building a new game called EVE Valkyrie this game is much like freelancer in first person space sim shooter. Will this crush discovery and be a new amazing game like what i hear about Star Citizen by the looks of it freelancer mods cant keep up anymore in the arms race for space sim shooters

CCP has created the ultimate sandbox universe
They started with EVE now they have Dust514 connected to their EVE sandbox universe and vice versa and now they will have EVE Valkyrie
3 Games one server one universe one sandbox
Sounds like the stuff we dreamed about when we were kids playing Halo back in the days heh

Watched demo trailer. Not impressed me. Even more - I dont like it.

yeah... these games will only provide fighting experience, there might be some "Role Play". still, they are very impressing.
But no Freelancer Discovery is still one of a kind!

By the looks of it it wil just be Dust 514 but with you piloting fighters/fighter bombers instead. As a nullsec player I can say that the idea of some pubbie flying my 25m fighters is not a fun one.
Oh also, I really doubt it will be like Freelancer (Sandbox and what not) and you'll likely just be shooting other fighters in a deathmatch type scenario.

Well the battle will be most likly battles that happen in eve cause even dust514 battles are in eve cause its all in one sandbox/server
