ID's and Reputation Auto-Correct - Brambleweed - 08-29-2013 Hello Discovery Community, Quote:Discovery Wiki: "It is important that your reputation sheet (and your IFF, should you opt to display one) matches your ID. Many ID's will automatically adjust your reputation to prevent exploits." Does anyone have a listing of which ID's in-game automatically alter a character's reputation and the corresponding changes they incur when equipped? I do not want to equip an ID only to find my character inexplicably hostile to a faction whose good graces I rely upon. Thank you, B. RE: ID's and Reputation Auto-Correct - Anaximander - 08-29-2013 There's an application called FLstat that will show you the rephacks on each ID. There also might be a 4.86 or 4.87 draft somewhere in either a balance/mod discussion thread or a faction thread regarding that specifically. RE: ID's and Reputation Auto-Correct - Alpha Volverine - 08-29-2013 I found this in somewhere is this forum. I think this can help you ![]() https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkrbJfuSqI97dEFwbU83Z3pZZnMtSUtZT3VOaEM1bnc#gid=2 RE: ID's and Reputation Auto-Correct - Kenobi67 - 08-29-2013 I've just downloaded FLstat... Question is how do you install it as it doesn't seem to have an "installer" Many thanks.

FLStat's term "rep hack" is not the same as the Discovery "rephack" applied by the ID system. The former refers to where bribes are available; the latter indicates the automatic reputation adjustment that comes from having a particular ID. RE: ID's and Reputation Auto-Correct - Brambleweed - 08-30-2013 This spreadsheet is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. RE: ID's and Reputation Auto-Correct - Matt Croft - 10-05-2014 so the ID only forces hostilities... but cannot make you friendly to a faction? If I have an outcast Hawk and I want to become a Samura escort, i cannot fix my rep by only switching ids? That radical a change, to avoid getting a really messed up repsheet, you are better off just making a new samura ship RE: ID's and Reputation Auto-Correct - Matt Croft - 10-06-2014 It was just an example, I was asking cause I wanted to buy a heavy transport which was equiped with an unlawfull Id (here in marketplace) and use it with a lawfull faction... so that option (creating a new lawfull ship) wasn't the best option... But ok, I see that the Id's cannot fix that kind of rep to a lawfull one. In this case, it would turn Samura to green, most samura hostiles to red, and make no changes to other factions. It would mean that KNF, KSP, Kishiro and others would still be red to your ship, even with the Samura IFF I believe. |
