To: IMG HC Subject: Possible endeavours Encryption: High - Xeno Alliance - 09-13-2013 Evenin' to ya boys. 'M afraid Pygmy's currently not available for this, he sends his regards nevertheless. I'll get t'the point. My name ain't terribly important, just know I speak fer th'Alliance.
We're going to be acquiring various minerals t'sell, raw ones 'course. We don't have th'contacts or the refineries t'do this on our own, ya see. 'S why we come t'ya. Exact surveys still have t'be done, but we know for a fact there's minerals with commercial an' military applications present. What we propose fer these minerals is simple. We ship th'raw ores to ya Freeport in Magellan, where ya can be th'middleman in shippin' it elsewhere to be refined, sold, whatever ya boys normally do. I can assure ya our transports won't be seen dockin' on th'base, an' we won't bring any trouble if it follows us. Measures'll be taken t'keep this strictly smooth bid'ness. Gimme a holler back. **** TO: Xeno Alliance Contact **** Dear Sir, I am pleased to hear from the Alliance. It has been a while. You are right in your assumption that the Guild has the contacts of refineries and smelters and that we can also filter ore that doesn't exactly meet the corporation-certified standard into the production sector. Magellan, Freeport 4 is currently not equipped for the storage of large quantities of raw material, but we can fix that by adding some module in case this becomes necessary. The addition of such a modular storage tank might take about a week. We agree that business like this - whatever the origin of the ore might be - has to be kept off the books and has to be done discreetly. Now, this sounds interesting in general. And you were talking about surveys. So are we speaking planetary surveys or are we talking about asteroid fields, or are we talking about ore that you found inside some Liberty mining ships? If you want me to run this operation smoothly on the IMG side, you need to put me into the picture. The more I know, the easier I can get the right steps done. Yours sincerely Jack Henderson IMG Operations Coordination ![]() RE: To: IMG HC Subject: Possible endeavours Encryption: High - Xeno Alliance - 09-13-2013 We're pleased to hear that IMG is willing t'speak business. Hard to come by, being who we are. We're no strangers to backroom dealings, otherwise we'd have died out a long time ago. There shouldn't be any issues keeping it that way.
Regarding your questions as to the source 'o the ore, the most I'll say's it's from a planet. We'll be conducting the surveys on our own, can't be too trustworthy I'm sure ya know when it comes t'business. Of course ya'll be sent summaries of the findings, t'better set-up buyers and the like. Accordin' t'our fancy lab coat department, surveys for a good portion of the planet t'start workin' with should take several weeks to a month, with what we got. This's a long term deal we're lookin' t'set up here, I might add. Ain't no wham bam thank ya ma'am type. **** TO: Xeno Alliance Contact **** Dear Sir, Thank you for giving me this intel to work with. What you mentioned sounds good enough to get the technicians to put up some plans for some raw material storage facility. The plans will be put into action once you have the results of the survey. The reason for this is that different types of raw materials need different storage conditions, so don't hesitate to let me know what you found, so I can take the next steps. Keep me posted and keep this on secret channels. I gray-flagged this business for IMG, so it's me and me only who is the go-to guy. You know the term plausible deniability, I guess. Yours sincerely Jack Henderson IMG Operations Coordination ![]() RE: To: IMG HC Subject: Possible endeavours Encryption: High - Xeno Alliance - 09-14-2013 Good to know. We'll keep ya posted, 'o course. |
