One player from the server i play on asked if the server moves from 4.86 to 4.87 will he lose all of his chars and bases as well ? He asked this question on the forum of the server i play on and i dont know what answer to give him , Do you have any information regarding this issue ?

Actually it depends on the server you are playing on. I am the ADMIN of the server in question. I won't advertise that server or it's policies here. All I can say here is that there will be an announcement on the forums for that server fairly quickly.

You will just loose the stuff you got in Beta on the Disco server.
The server will restart from what you have just before Beta started.

It depends what server you are playing, its admins who make wipe or don't make.
