Offering 30 Euros for the design (And implementation*) of a Liberty Rogue LF - sindroms - 11-10-2013

Exactly.
Nothing motivates more than money, so I am starting a fund for the Modeling, Hardpointing and Balancing of a Rogue LF.

I myself am offering 30 Euros (40.29USD) for the innitial design. If anyone wants to chip in, it would be appreciated.

Point is, I want to have this implemented before we end the beta. As for myself, I can pay my contribution either via Paypal or a direct bank transfer. However, if we can make a pot for this, then perhaps we could agree to send the money to the server donation account and have trustworthy people distribute it.

I think it is time we start chipping in for all the cool stuff peeps make. Heck, if we all chipped in 5 bucks, I am sure it would be worth their time.

How this will be done is easy. First of all, the model. All submissions will be accepted, placed in one thread with a vote and the community, not me, will decide which one will be picked. Winner gets the 30Eur from me and whatever contributions other people can muster by themselves IF THE MODEL IS SUCCESSFULLY ADDED TO THE MOD AND INGAME.

Go and make me proud 8|

Heck, I was gonna try building one for free. Any influences from other shiplines (HFX, Series-xyz, etc.) you'd like to see in it?

Go nuts.
Though I would prefer something along the lines of an arrow, just a bit more jukish and beat up. Same idea, very narrow and small from the front, but with a long hull. Excellent to dodge transport fire by boxing, but pretty voulnerable against actual hostiles.

But those are just my thoughts.

Are devs allowed to participate? >_>

Sort of obvious, ain't it?

It's amazing what money does.

On topic, its a nice idea, a Rogue LF would be nice. I would think said rogue LF would be heavy for a LF, like a scimitar in regards to armaments. Just a thought.

Pfeh. As modular as the Corsair Pirate line is, it wouldn't be too hard to make one. But what's wrong with the Hyena?

I would be interested but I won't compete with anyone for it, if you would like me to design it please let me know, via PM.

How much will I get if I give it Mk1 stats for your personal piracy amusement?

On a more serious note - Making it bulky but not too bulky, and going for a 5-gunner model to fit with the rest of the somewhat-heavy Rogue line might make one interesting model for that ship.

It was turned into a HF in the last update.

5 guns with the current LF gun stats might make it useless due to powerplant regen. Unless you decide to give it an unique core, but dunno. A heavy pirate LF would fit the Rogue line very much, but within reason.
