Looking for TBs for EFL - Slappy - 11-20-2013

Hey guys,

Looking for something standard we might issue and share with people by changing character pictures and all. Currently using the Blue/Red theme of our active logo, looking to boost some life into the group through forum RP and such.

Looking for a general, quality corproate feel, perhaps a little industrial if that's what you like seeing as our main operations deal with refining and heavy manufacturing work.

For my own character, Jacques Tavernier, was looking for two bars for review, one using each picture:

I appreciate the work all of the media people do for the community by putting images and names with our RP. Makes it that much more involved, and I want you all to have fun with it if you decide to take on the project.

I like the overall design a lot. Nice and simple.

Just a few questions, and most of this is my fault for not bringing it up in the initial post:

- Would it be possible to work the EFL logo (the blue and red with text) in there somewhere? It can be opaque a bit and resized if you think that would make it look better. If the border could be a blue matching with the logo, that would be nice as well. At first glance, making the sides a bit longer would make room, having the logo on the left side and possibly the "incoming transmission" and "name" on the lower part of the right, leaving the picture alone in the middle. No idea if that would look good or not, though.

- Could the yellow dots on the border be changed to white?

- I'd prefer to remove titles from the bars if we can.

- Could the "name" and "incoming transmission" text be in the same text style as the ELF logo we've been using?

- For the "end transmission" bar, could it be the border made smaller, just with the text "fermé " in the same font as the logo/name etc.? Perhaps using either of the image backgrounds you have on the left or right in the main bar on it as well, whichever you think might be better.

I don't want these to be super burdensome, and I'm also ignorant on how much work/effort those changes might take, so I apologize in advance if I'm being bleh. I appreciate the work a lot, and I know you've got an eye for what looks good.

I'll be honest, I don't know it since I didn't design the logo, but I'll look for then closest thing I can find and post it.

Went looking around for a bit, but I couldn't find much. How does Century Gothic sound? Clean, round, shape mirrors the template curves a bit.

Looks awesome.

Only point I see is whether, and I don't know it its possible, the end transmission bar can be "squished" from the top to get rid of the unused space above "ferme" while keeping the border's attributes. Possibly shrinking the box around it a little as a whole and centering "ferme" and the logo might work as well, I'm not sure.

The way you worked the logo into both bars is fantastic.
