Hail Junkers!

Here's the situation at present:

1) I submitted a faction proposal for the "Junker Congress" sometime ago.

2) I withdrew the proposal due to some over the top personally directed hostility.

3) Amazingly, even after I deleted all my characters, people continued RPing (not just carrying) the .:j:. tag and using "Tinkerbell" as a source of "Junker authority".

4) New players sometimes adopted the .:j:. tag thinking that .:j:. was the "official" Junker group (and I still get asked for help by new players).

5) Some players asked me to continue with the Congress.

6) I got a lot more savy to where the problems were and who to actively work with and who to disregard. Simplifies things tremendously. (You can't please everyone all of the time.)

7) I had offers of support from other faction and non-faction players.

8) I recreated the "command structure" of the Junker Congress (aka Junker Guards Party) and returned to play.

9) News came out of the new Mod and I smell "French" so decided to build on RP and current players while we wait for the update and see if there are any changes to Junkers.

10) After the new mod is released, we'll submit an official faction request again.

This brings us to the present--as well as past...

I need all the Junker players carrying the .:j:. tag to please PM me a list of your tagged characters and the forum account you wish to be contacted through.

I'll follow up with some private mailing with info on the website and news/updates for the game here.

I'm posting this because there are players I have never met in game with the tag. Please contact me so i know "who's who".

Anyone else who is interested in creating a .:j:. character may contact me as well. The new proposal will also have places for smugglers, pirates and mercenaries with Junker reputations.

I've got three independent Junker characters, and I'm pretty active in trying to define our role as something besides passive-aggressive diplomatically immune smugglers.

None tagged with the sign, but maybe I could convince the poor overworked Admins for a couple final name changes?

If you're willing to deal with my rocking the boat, that is. I noticed the 'pirates, smugglers, and mercs' openings -- how about 'debt collectors'? I even tried to get protection money out of Mon'Star for operating near our space tonight.

(It didn't go well.)

I want to be diverse with departments that specialize so players can "choose their own career path".
