![]() Faction Tag: Brigands| ID: Gallic Brigands ID IFF: Brigands - Bases of operations:The Brigands have several key bases in the Gallic Border Worlds. Most of them being asteroid bases. The Gallic Brigands fly from base to base tasting the various drinks at the bars. Primary Objective: Profit from our enemies and the unworthy Secondary Objective: Dethrone the Gallic monarchy to further destabilize the region History The Brigands' exact date of founding is unknown, or to be more precise, irrelevant to even its own members. Sporting at least two centuries of under this 'unified banner', they started out as a small band of mismatched space thieves. Adventure is how they'd glorify it, and looting their trademark.
Over time, they grew rapidly in size and strength. Asteroids were mined out, stations were built, and corporate transports got themselves commandeered to house their communities. The Brigands are a proud thorn, albeit somewhat minor, in the side of the Gallic Crown. Although fame and renown are often more important than their few ranks, at present they are lead by the cunning Samuel Perret. Composed mainly of brawlers and ruffians, some maintain the aura of medieval highway bandits while others seek pleasure from killing. With the way Sirius Sector (relatively) open, the Brigands are looking out for fresh sources of plunder. If both you two meet up and interact with each other, you could bring some activity back to gallia. RE: The Gallic Brigands - The Gallic Brigands - 01-18-2014 If the GEP take off and we do too then I'm sure that all of the players in Gallia will benefit from a trio of Traders, GEP and The Gallic Brigands. If anyone wants to join up then a recruitment thread will be going online soon. Thanks - Cashew RE: The Gallic Brigands - Andre Satin - 01-19-2014 Personally looking forward to beating you guys in the Black Market catching up and creating Gallic activity! But yeah, the write up looks awesome and there's nothing left to say but "See you in space!" RE: The Gallic Brigands - Omi - 01-19-2014 Brigands yay \o\ Good to see fledgling Gallic factions taking wing. Feel free to get in touch if you want to arrange anything with GRN|, as well. RE: The Gallic Brigands - Thexare - 01-19-2014 Looking forward to seeing you in the Taus, or perhaps further out. The Raiders will open diplomacy with you when that happens. Until then, good luck. RE: The Gallic Brigands - Bulldog. - 01-19-2014 This will surely be interesting. RE: The Gallic Brigands - LunaticOnTheGrass - 01-19-2014 I do have a question: To my understanding the Brigands were the only Gallic unlawfuls who wanted to create a market for Cardamine in Gallia to compete with the Corse's Nox, but it says here that Outcasts are considered piracy targets. Could you explain whether you'll be following through with that plot point or do you have something else in mind? Edit: Evidently the Gallic Junkers are planning on Maltesian partnerships as well, but I'd still like your input if possible. RE: The Gallic Brigands - The Gallic Brigands - 01-19-2014 At the moment we only have one member with a freighter so hauling black market goods, Cardamine etc isn't really on our list of things to do. Our main goal at the moment is for people to recognize we are there and to like our RP. We are looking forward to meeting up with the 'Punishers' and the 'GRN' to RP with them. The overall goal with this faction was to give the Gallic Lawfuls criminals to deal with. As more people join us (Hopefully) then we will begin to create objectives for the members to complete eg. Haul 8000 units of Cardamine to so and so. The 'Outcasts' are currently on the Piracy targets (Unfriendly) but that can change if we see fit. If they contact us and we can come to an arrangement then I'm sure they can become useful to us. Anyhow. Thanks for everyone's support - Cashew (Faction leader) |
