[AI] - More than toasters - HassLHoFF™ - 02-09-2014
I just had another encounter with GMG some hours ago. It isn't still satisfying me how others RPing with the [AI]. It seems allways just that a human talks to another human, but just call him toaster a countless times.
I haven't noticed any special RP on my radar and I haven't seen a RP-counterpart was rping with us realistic, as it should be expected, for a long time.
I want to invite you all for an easy "Question & Answer" in this threat, for clearing things up that are apparently still unknown !

I was there entire time, cloaked, and I suggest you not to fly cruisers in their space. Nobody likes foreign war machines in his space. Pick a fighter next time, maybe it could turn out differently.

Could be. But he has a valid point. Foreign warships are treated poorly - or should be. Nine times out of ten they're a valid combat target for the local law enforcers.
And to be fair, don't expect too much from the average player. If even "avid roleplayers" are treating you in a way you dislike, maybe your own roleplay isn't up to par?

You can try to voice and explain who/what you are.
As a personal example, I don't go around Rheinland expecting anyone to distinguish my faction as anything but the standard Rheinland Revolutionary-Pirate fare. I can only hope their RP will be affected by the RP put out on my own end.

No but seriously, if you're getting disregarded during a roleplay, do something to make yourself and your roleplay stand out. There's nothing stopping your rp from being fantastic and grabbing everyone's attention but yourself. It's a matter of stepping up to the plate and getting in their faces with your roleplay (although doing that too much is obnoxious. Learned that the hard way
). If you want "special roleplay" then you gotta make it yourself, and not be sitting there expecting people to be wow'd by the fact an AI shows up.
