Discovery Download Error - cptbmac199 - 03-04-2014
Greetings, I asked my brother if I could put Freelancer on his computer, and he said yeah that's fine... Well when it shows the Installation location it shows as nothing, no file location to install. I'm not sure how to explain it... but I go from the intro, like the setup welcome and everything, then I click next, and it said Installation Location Browser, or something like that... anyways, It doesn't show any folders, or default browser... I'm wondering, is that normal, Do I have to manually put it in? So, after about an hour doing the dang thing, I said screw it for the night, and pretty much gave up...(pardon me for the language, if there is Language involved) So this is where I need help. Do I need to do something in order to download it properly. Do I need to download the original 4.87 before the update, that would be the Beta Version? If an Admin could send me a PM that would be great.. But other help is much appreciated. So thank you for you help (Once again) I'm sorry for the Inconvenience, and safe skies.

You need to have the base mod files installed before attempting to apply the Update patch.

Thanks, I'll do that tomorrow, hopefully I can get up early enough. hopefully this'll solve my problem. with that, this forum post is closed.
