::Scene:: -New York Restricted Space
Tenabras sits cloaked inside Zone-21 waiting for a convoy
holding Oxygen. The convoys destination, Juneau Station.
It's mission to supply Juneau Station with oxygen for it
to become the new location for Liberty Force operations.
Though Tenabras doesn't know this. It's just there to take
the oxygen for itself. The ship has been lacking on some
supplies do to its extended visit in New York.
"Sir the convoy has just entered New York from the Texas System."
Caitlyn says to Stewart.
Caitlyn is the new second in command Admiral of the Tenabras.
Caitlyn, who is Stewart's current girlfriend, has brown hair, hazel eyes,
and is 5' 6". While on the bridge both Stewart and herself show no
personnel romance to each other. It's all about business in this part
of the ship.
Stewart nods.
"Roger that. Wait for the convoy to get in range and then on my command
uncloak the ship."
After Travis' death the whole crew instantly respected Stewart. Not
only because Travis knew him but because the way Stewart commanded
the ship and the fleet itself. Stewart is 6'3" towering over most of his
crew in height he is a force to be reckon with. Though he prefers
to be called Stewie. Stewart is just like his girlfriend. Having the same
color hair and eyes some thought they were brother and sister at first.
Several minutes passed on until the convoy appeared on radar.
"Convoy spotted. 4 Escorts and 2 adv. trains. This is the convoy we've
been waiting for. Both trains holding a full load of oxygen." Caitlyn said.
Stewart again nodded. The convoy entered Zone-21 pass not knowing
what was ahead of them.
The convoy got within 1 click from Tenabras. Then like a ghost the ship
uncloaked showing its massive turrets pointing at the main ship.
"This is the 122nd Order Guard Flagship. Fleet Admiral Stewart here.
I order you to drop your cargo or be destroyed."
Tenabras was blocking the gate to the Zone-21 System passing it
would be impossible.
"That's a negative this convoy will make it through to the other side!"
Captain Stephanie Malaign said. The leader of the escort squadron.
"All ships escorts engage the Tenabras!"
Instantly the Tenabras opened its main guns on the fighters. One by one
they fell even the Trains were shooting at the Tenabras, but it's shield
was just far to strong for such weak weapons. The last surviving fighter
was Stephanie's she had no choice but to retreat.
"Convoy pull back lets flee while we still can." Stephanie said with
a depressed type of voice.
The Tenabras then changed it's focus back to the trains. Not shooting
to destroy but shooting to release the load. It successfully took out one
of the trains set of containers. Smaller oxygen containers were now
beamed onto the Tenabras. Her mission 50% complete.
As for the fighters that were shot down. Their escape pods were
free to return home. Tenabras didnt want to kill anyone. Just
do what it had to to survive.
"Let's wrap this up and head out." Stewart said. Seeing as how they
now have enough oxygen on board to last for some time.
The ship turned toward the Zone-21 exit and engaged cruise engines.
It's route was a field in the system where scanners have no luck getting
anything in or out. A death trap for anyone who dared enter it to hunt.
As the ship exited the Zone-21 field a system comm for the destruction
of an Osiris Battleship came up. The order was given by a Liberty
Navy flagship, San Francisco. Tenabras didn't worry about it until the
San Fran popped in scanner range.
"Engage the Battleship!" The San Fran said in a system comm.
Though no one else was around so it was somewhat useless.
"All hands red alert engage the Liberty Dread when in firing range!"
Stewart said. With a calm yet frustrated look on his face.
Both ships got in a 3 click firing range of each other and started
bombarding each other with battleship shells. Each ship taking a beating
equal to that of the other. It was a tie of power. Neither ship was
willing to accept defeat. The Tenabras was the first to activate the bots
for an emergency shield repair. Soon after the San Fran did the same.
This fight was going no where fast.
After both ships depleted there supply of shield bots they were not
pounding at the ships hull itself. Both ships lobbing as many rounds
as it could before the energy to the ship would accept no more.
It came down to the Tenabras catching on fire on 2 main decks
and the San Fran suffering from multiple turret malfunctions.
Surprisingly at the same time. Both ships retreated going different
directions from each other. The battle was a draw.
"That was quite a fight you put up there San Fran. Good job."
Stewart said in system comm.
"You as well. Never have I seen a ship do as much damage as we."
The commander of the San Fran replied.
Even in the most dangerous fights. Two enemies still are able
to compliment each other on a job well done. Shows how
even in a galaxy on the brink of constant destruction. The littlest
acts of kindness go a long way.
