When I go to bases and look at shield upgrades for my Cruiser, LTrain, and Prison liner I only see the freighter and fighter shield. Are there bases that sell BS and cruiser shield or do you need to buy a BS or Cruiser and sell it to get the shield?

Generally, yeah, I don't remember a base selling those. But there are lots of people here (including me) that are in favor of every class of ship has it's own class of shield ie. cruisers have cruiser shield.

I agree but, maybe a Britonia or Rheinland cruiser shield is better than a Liberty shield, etc. Just looking for upgrades in my shield class.

All bs shields are the same and only come with a Battleship...
Cruiser, same.
Gunboat, same....
Only difference is in fighter shields...
But, I'm with Nightfall here, I wouldn't put a BS shield on your Cruiser or gunboat or something...

I wish caps had more shielding options.
GB - Class 9 Molecular, Positron, and Graviton shields
Cruiser - Class 10 Molecular, Positron, and Graviton shields
Battleships - Class 10 Molecular, Positron, and Graviton shields

I did ask if we could have molecular and positron shields for cap-ships soon after I got here... But igiss said (somewhere, not sure which thread..) that it can't be done.

No offense but I think that is lame. Not expanding the variety of capship shields because they would be cheap. Pfft.

Thanks for the info. I know I shopped shields for my fighters, just wanted to know if I needed to shop for my cap. ships too.
(Hmmm... might have to try a gun boat too...)
