==TITLE: A NEW BEGINNING==

I sent in my application to join Interspace Commerce today, I can't believe I finally did it - wow. Maybe I'll finally be able to do something with my life other than be a pizza delivery boy. Imagine what I could do with the money, I'd be able to afford my own house and get out of this lousy government accommodation, maybe I could even afford to get my own shower, God knows I shouldn't have to share a shower with an old man so mentally ill that he forgets to put a towel round himself when he leaves the shower in the morning.

That is of course if they even accept me, oh no I just thought about something - what do I do if they call me in for an interview, I don't even own a suit. I know, if I take all the money out of my safe I should have about 75 credits left, it's not brilliant but if I eat a quarter of a tin of beans for the next eight days I should be able to rent a suit for the interview, it'll have to do I guess.

Oh crap, after I rent the suit out I won't have any money left to pay for a cab to get me to the interview, and that's me hoping they want to go forward with the interview on this planet. I guess they'll have to pay for that side of things, I just need to focus on what I look like and what I say if and when I get there.

Here how does this sound: I've always dream't of working for Interspace Commerce since I was a little boy gazing up at the stars. No no too cliche Lets try something more professional. Right how about this: I have a lot of experience getting cargo around the universe under the tightest of deadlines - too much? yeah thought so.

Look at the time, it's 2:00 AM. I best get to bed, after all: It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life, for me, and I'm feeling good.
