My Server - Virus - 06-07-2006
Anyway, I started up a server with FLServer and IONCROSS FSO. Its mostly for me to be able to test ship set-ups without having to waste hundreds of millions of credits...
The problem is, I can't get it to use the Discovery 4.79 stuff... It only uses Vanilla FL, TNG, and VictorMod(whatever that is....). I can tell you now, I have NEVER used those mods, EVER. So I have no idea why those are there, but, more importantly, how do I get it to show Disco stuff like new bases to drop myself off at?...
And most importantly SHIPS.

After a bunch of messing around and stuff, I know how to add it... I need to add just a bunch of numbers and names into the program's files... Not hard, but where do I get the information to copy and paste?...

While searching the Discovery mod folder for something that looks similar to what is in the IONCROSS folders, I found the above.... Didn't know that existed...

Seems to be nothing in the Discovery Mod Folder... Onto the actual Freelancer folder...

Ack! I can't find anything similar... Or even something that looks like a PEICE.... :(

Works fine, but I can't edit into new ships or place myself into new systems... I'd like to be able to do that... :P
EDIT: I FOUND IT! AND I THINK I FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET FULL MAP! :D
If I can confirm.... I'll send Igiss/Wolf a copy of the file! Though, I'm 90% sure the file would then ONLY work for Discovery 4.79 and any change to the map would mean you'd have to update this file. Sam did say it wouldn't work for a modded server... But eh, I'll find out. ;)
Oh, and I think I'm becoming more and more computer literate the more I use this mod! :D

I found a slight bug, as I think you made the file I pulled the info from, Igiss, You cannot edit tractor or scanner... :(

Um... I need someone to go on my server now that I have set everything up and realized that you can't edit the ship via IONCROSS... :(

Anyone who comes will get 999,999,999 on two characters...
But there is a condition: I need to fight against a Battleship, a Cruiser, and a Gunboat...

In the mean-time...
Take the GAMEDATA_xxxx.txt files from the folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\IONCROSS
And paste them into here:
C:\Program Files\IONCROSS Freelancer Server Operator mk.V
Make sure to simply copy over the old files, and you should be done.
NOTE: this is copy and paste, not cut and paste.
