Voting process for Citizen Registry - The Republic of Kusari - 03-19-2014 The bill "Creation of a Kusari Citizen Registry Database" has been proposed by the Democratic Party of Kusari and been seconded. The time frame for discussion and voting is seven (7) days. RE: Voting process for Citizen Registry - WesternPeregrine - 03-19-2014 As the promoter of this new law, I shall submit the concept for your appraisal. The Kusari Citizen Registry 1. Introduction The Kusari Citizen Registry (henceforth referred to as the Registry) aims to provide a database for the Republic of Kusari of all citizens of good standing with the law, and that are therefore eligible to participate in the political processes of the Kusari Republic. Citizens of Kusari who register in this database are recognized as holding kusarian nationality, and that have automatically forfeited any allegiance to other Houses or nations they might had previously. 2. Citizenship and the Political Process. Citizen registration is required for participation in political processes of the Kusari Republic. Citizens are required to be registered up to two (2) weeks prior of any election or referendum to be allowed to participate. Citizens who register past this deadline are not allowed to participate in the following political process, but are included in the electorate for all actions thereon. 3. Eligible Individuals. Although all citizens are empowered with the same rights and duties, the Registry recognizes several situations and backgrounds. The following section describes the requirements for each potential situation. 3.1 Kusari Natives
Eligible individuals must provide the following documents for inspection: -1 Biographical Document OR -1 Record that demonstrates his or her native status and/or successful employment in Kusari state organizations. (//Story, successful application, etc.) 3.2 Individuals of Kusari Descent
Eligible individuals must provide the following documents for inspection: -1 Biographical Document, where the Kusarian ancestry is proven AND -1 Document that demonstrates that the individual is or has lived/worked in Kusari and has not engaged in any unlawful actions or behaviors. (//successful application, contract work, story, etc.) 3.3 Naturalized Long Term Residents
Eligible individuals must provide the following documents for inspection: - 1 Biographical Document AND - 1 Document that demonstrates that the individual is or has lived/worked in Kusari and has not engaged in any unlawful actions or behaviors. (//successful application, contract work, story, etc.) 4. Registration Citizens who wish to register are asked to fill the following form for processing: Citizen Name: *write here* Age: *write here* Birthplace: *write here* Affiliation: *write here* Reference bios and documents: *write here* It will be the duty of the Republic of Kusari offices to screen and approve the registration applications, and to keep an updated list of the registered citizens. (//1st post with the guidelines, 2nd post with a citizen list) [//As mentioned, deadline for discussion is March 26th.] Edit: added amendment, fixed typos. RE: Voting process for Citizen Registry - Stuffz - 03-21-2014 Kurosawa Takashi from the Democratic Party of Kusari stood up and cleared his throat, signalling that he would like to start the discussion about the proposed bill. I agree with this concept of the bill regarding Citizen Registry and hereby vote for its implementation. However, I want to make one amendment: Foreign residents who marry a Kusari citizen should be able to register as a citizen without the need to be a resident for the proposed 10 years. A much shorter period, or none at all should be used in that case. He took a look around the room to find out what reactions his proposal provoked. With a short nod he took a seat again. RE: Voting process for Citizen Registry - Markus_Janus - 03-22-2014 Manabu Yukimura stood before the podium, cleared his throat and began. ![]() Fellow ministers, after lengthy discussion amongst the members of this party. Weighing up the ramifications to Kusari from such an endeavor, the Kusari Reformation party votes unanimously in favour of the bill as presented. Within Kusari we share the ability and responsibility to vote for our chosen electives, those we feel are best suited to the role of running an efficient system of bureaucracy to facilitate better governance of the Republic of Kusari. The KRP does not feel that this move will have much affect on the voting duties of Kusari citizens except that the onus of responsibility for registration will be placed upon the citizen as opposed to the Kusari Electoral Commission. We wish to make the statement that this bill represents the symbol of our various parties coming together to show bipartisan cooperation for the good of the people, support for this bill, we feel, will go along way towards pleasing the minds of the people. Hence for the Bill Creation of The Kusari Citizen Registry , The KRP votes affirmative.
