This thought decided to roll it's way into my mind.

And instead of kill ......
they will infect someone if shield gets disabled.(They will receive Zombie IFF,which can be later reset after event)
and the infected zombie goes around infecting more ......
zombies have fast cruise and slightly faster impulse speed.
This would be a OORP event aimed at gathering activity and members,the server will roll back to starting of event so RP will not be affected)
//Edit:Also,Infected ships weps will be less powerful then normal ships (by not much though)

Then we will have zombies floating around in space, and bandits would kill you with no RP, cuz we're at apocalypse no RP anymore!

We need a monthly event that isn't strictly RP,but crazy and heart pumping totally with PvP in mind.

Planets razed to the ground, zoners would rule spacetravel, for tradelanes and jumpgates would fall into decay (zombie decay?). Order would become a fanatical anti-zombie anti-alien organization (as if they weren't already).
Isolated communities would worship Nomads as saviors of the zombie apocalypse, and outcasts would strive to make a cardamine based cure.
