RE: Space Sim games I recommend - stardust47 - 05-12-2014 Kerbal Space Program- A space sim where you design your own ships. I've heard it described as 'NASA by trial and error', which is very accurate. RE: Space Sim games I recommend - Gaz83 - 05-12-2014 The X series is pretty good. RE: Space Sim games I recommend - Stoner_Steve - 05-12-2014 I own a copy, Its better described as lego rockets, its pretty much point and click for items. Here is a very good youtuber playing though Kerbal Space Program RE: Space Sim games I recommend - dirmaster0 - 05-12-2014 (05-12-2014, 03:41 PM)Gaz83 Wrote: The X series is pretty good.Agreed, although the newest one (X:Rebirth) was sort of a let down. I miss the ability to change ships, rather than just being able to command the others from the Albion Skunk. RE: Space Sim games I recommend - stardust47 - 05-12-2014 I'd also recommend FTL: Faster Than Light, which recently got a fairly big content update. It's more about resource management and strategy than actually flying. It's also a roguelike, so a lot of the time, you're at the mercy of the Random Number God, which can make it a piece of cake, or a tormentous inferno, or anything in between. RE: Space Sim games I recommend - Apollon - 05-12-2014 Most of them looks good, But....freelancer! EVE online.. Haven' 't really played much space sim games RE: Space Sim games I recommend - Gaz83 - 05-12-2014 (05-12-2014, 08:35 PM)dirmaster0 Wrote:(05-12-2014, 03:41 PM)Gaz83 Wrote: The X series is pretty good.Agreed, although the newest one (X:Rebirth) was sort of a let down. You can't go wrong with X3 though. RE: Space Sim games I recommend - Swallow - 05-12-2014 Orbiter. Once you are at it, you'll see why it is named that way. Besides, I am doing stellar system addons for it. RE: Space Sim games I recommend - Gaz83 - 05-12-2014 (05-12-2014, 10:28 PM)Swallow Wrote: Orbiter. Just googled it, it looks pretty good. Going to give it a download. |
