Kusari Territorial Police Services info page - Sarawr!? - 07-06-2014 Faction Name: Ryodo no Keisatsu Sabisu/Territorial Police Services Faction Tag: RKS|- Faction ID: Kusari State Police -Origin & Overview-
The Territorial Police Services, otherwise known as "Ryodo no Keisatsu Sabisu", are the direct product of the reformation period which began with the end of the Empire of Kusari. Currently, the Territorial Police Services exist as a subdivision of the larger Kusari State Police organ. However, unlike some other divisions of the State Police there are no holdovers from the "Imperial Era" within the ranks of the Territorial Police, and this is something they pride themselves on, with officers seeing themselves as the first generation of police to be "truly devoted to the People of Kusari". As an organization, The Territorial Police Service strives to make itself seem trustworthy and approachable to members of the public, attempting to shake off the stigma created by the graft and corruption that were rumored to be commonplace during the reign of the Emperor. Additionally, officers in the Territorial Police have undergone formal training in an attempt to discourage negative attitudes and treatment of visitors from other Houses, the end-goal being to ensure that foreigners receive the same protections as spacefaring Kusari citizens would receive. Functionally, the Territorial Police Services are a highly disciplined and well trained police force, although they are markedly less militant than the State Police in years past, with an eye toward continuing reforms and improved public relations, while simultaneously swearing to uphold the laws of the new government to the letter. Naturally, the Territorial Police do not shy away from the judicious use of force or punishment of criminal elements, even if they do try to create a positive public image as they carry out their missions. -Objectives-

Keisatsu Keishi/Police Superintendent - The Officer holding this rank is responsible for overseeing the operations and staff of the Territorial Police, and for the handling of high level negotiations and organizational politics.
Keibu/Squad Commander or Inspector - Officers holding this rank are responsible for assisting the Superintendent with overseeing Police Operations, it is their responsibility to ensure that day to day operations are handled to the Superintendent's liking. Territorial Police Keibu have been known to dole out harsh reprimands when things go wrong. It's even been rumored that should one wander into the depths of a Territorial Police station, they'll likely find a Keibu shouting at a room full of officers for even the smallest infraction. Junsa-bucho/Police Sergeant - Officers holding this rank are directly responsible for making sure that information flows efficiently from the leadership to the officers in the field. The Junsa-bucho are also directly responsible for squad-level operations and the handling of minor investigations. Additionally these officers are often paired up with Junsa so that the more junior officers can learn what's expected of them firsthand as they work. It has been said due to the numerous duties of this position, that the Junsa-bucho are the "Backbone" of the Territorial Police. Junsa/Police Officer - This rank is the junior-most rank in the Territorial Police Services, these officers are generally the newest, having recently transferred from other branches or having graduated the Territorial Police Service's own Academy. Most officers within the Territorial Police do not remain at this rank for very long unless they incur the wrath of their Patrol Sergeants or Inspectors. -Equipment of the Territorial Police-
