I am sick of moving helium around for 40.000.000 per hour.
Is there a way to earn more money? Can I own a factory?
I have this money and can't buy a thing, as it seems no one
produces anything. I am willing to work. Can I be a producer?

Join any trading faction, and you will recieve more help than you could have thought of, when you made this thread.

Try contacting people/factions owning a PoB and ask if you can help them produce cloaks/jumpdrives/docking modules etc.

Join a (official)trading faction and do the best ore runs on the server.
Choose one from a house you like playing in.

The biggest barrier to joining anywhere right now is skype, as it need XP SP3
and I have SP2.

Well.. Skype is required by most factions and most interactions are done there. If not possible, You can always PM the required one here if needed.
