Writing light novel - VOTE! - Fluffyball - 07-21-2014
I will be finally having time on writing my light novel - something like novella, with manga full-page pictures sometimes, specific genre in Japan that eventually gets an anime or movie (Egde of Tomorrow is the first movie that is neither anime nor Japanese movie on basis of light novel //"All You Need Is Kill"//).
I eventually would translate it into English OR write it entirely in my (poor) English.
So, there are three options:
- Sengoku Period, because I have a decent knowledge on the times of the samurai Japan and it would be more a drama than action based thing. Honor, sometimes blood and perhaps (warning here) gay romance.
- Sci-Fi themes, where two warring factions are fighting in war, preferably the small war between the forces from the planet of origin and Colonists/Miners, who want to gain independence.
- Chinese Detective Story, that in fact takes place in my own universe (this one in mainly in Chinese-inspired Chang), but idea was on hold. Characters are ready, yet there is no "canon" timeline nor events, due to the fact being spin-off of the original Drakania.
