Removing SP level restrictions? - VoluptaBox - 08-05-2014
Does anyone know how to remove the level restrictions in SP, to allow getting all the ships during the campaign? Did some research and apparently FL hack such an option, but can't seem to find where to download it.
Any alternatives?

Oh, just type in the console "cash 2000000000000" (no quotes)or something. Or any - big - number.
You'll get to level 38 in a second, and you'll be able to buy everything ever.
Oh, and don't forget to type "rep = 1" or "rep 1". (Again, no quotes) You'll get friendly with everyone if you do that.
And from there, simply type "base <basename>" no quotes and it will take you to that specific base of Planet you wanted. Capitol letter needed for the name.
EDIT: I just noticed that you said "campaign". Well, I'm an idiot. I apologize.

Won't that break the SP campaign? A friend wants to replay the campaign, using different ships.
I know there was a mod that instead of giving you higher level, made it so that all equipment was buyable at level 1, provided you had the cash. That's what I had in mind.

My bad, again. I'm not sure SP campaign has a console...
And I think there's a few mods for that. I don't know any though. Sorry for wasting your time.

Ioncross Freelancer Character Editor "should work". Save a game in campaign. use it to edit your ship, cash and rep.

Yeap, that's what I told as well. The "issue" is that you get the lights you had on the original ship, so it might look awkward. Guess he'll have to deal with that.
