Disconnect right after selecting a character - Corile - 08-16-2014
I noticed this today.
When I log on any character, on any base, whatever, the game just disconnects me without any information like kick reason or anything. Just poof, I'm gone. This started happening today, hadn't had this problem before.
For the record, this happens on every Discovery server, not only the official one.

Same problem with me, I tried everything even re installed game, add it discovery file to Anti virus but no use

I occasionally get this problem myself, most people say to wait a while before trying again as your account may get auto-banned, however I have found a very weird work around that seems to work for me, although I don't know if it will be successful for anyone else. What I do is I go to one of my accounts that isn't full and I make a new character with some random name then login with that I then switch to one of my other characters on the account and then suddenly everything works fine again and I just delete the new character that I made.

Well the reinstall of the entire Freelancer helped.

Disco and/or launchpad (not sure which one) seems to have a flaw when it comes to trying to play Disco in full screen.
It happened to me a while ago, and nothing fixed it. So i just play windowed now.

This happened both at windowed and fullscreen, with and without launchpad.

The issue is back after I had reinstalled the game and mod. Still right after when I join any server the game just disconnects me.

Anybody has any input on this? I'm tired of reinstalling my game every day.

you said youve added the disco "file" to your anti virus, try adding the entire folder
