See a dentist.

you can apply 2 or 3 drops of capsaicin to the affected area for some temporary relief

or you can get a clue & not be a fool asking for medical advice on a gaming forum

hot salty water to reduce the inflammation and then go to see a dentist to extract the wisdom teeth.
(as far I know a dentist will not extract a teeth if there is an inflammation).

Yeah, I'm not going to rush on that - Ive heard its bloody painful to remove it, and ever more painful a week later. The dentist did say however that it can be saved, but that requires laser surgery and i have yet to recover from the inflammation - so im suffering atm until its gone and then ill see if im bald enough to do either

Well then you had it easy, one of my wisdom tooths came in completely wrong and to remove it, they had to cut it in half with a medical cutter. Mind you, it hurt for about 24 hours after words however the next day it was lots better.

Mind you, where I live it was either

A: Keep my wisdow teeth and let them mess up my teeth
or
B: Remove them and be in pain for a week

Rather then have a messed up set of teeth I chose to remove them but thats just me

Getting your wisdom out isn't too bad unless they are impacted (the tooth is still under the gum and needs cut out), then they need to give you anesthetic to remove it, and it will take a bit longer to heal.

Otherwise, you go in, get them out, go home with some Vicodin, easy peasy.

< mrkman> Bucket: irc medical advice
< Bucket> Increase the anaesthesia while I remove this throbbing red tumor from the patient's chest cavity. We will transplant the gonads to the empty space and complete the operation by putting the skin back together with this sewing machine.
