Star Citizen - Tenacity - 08-10-2014
Anyone looking into this? Supposed to release sometime in 2015. It's basically a space sim MMORPG, designed by the same guy that made all of the wing commander games, as well as Freelancer.
The ship details look amazing in the preview vids so far, really looking forward to it.

Been a backer for a few years now, looks fantastic and I can't wait. Chris Roberts has been chasing his dream of a complete space-sim as he believes it should be for decades and he finally seems to have the capability to do it.
Heh, my biggest worry is that I won't have the free time to enjoy it as much as I have his previous work. But I'll sure as hell try.

I have paid like 75$ for it and currently I'm very disappointed. If they don't implement a fully functional 3rd person view I probably won't play it.

Third person flying is great in a game that provides it, but as long as nobody has 3rd person I'm fine with all first person flight, as nobody flying in 3rd person will have an advantage.
First person is better anwyays, at least when the cockpit detail is done well.

Great idea, but only based on the awesomeness that came before it.

People have been chanting "Chris Roberts" like a mantra, as if it would impart some degree of development skill greater than others are capable of delivering.
In practice, they guy is a hack.

Are you saying you've paid for something you haven't tried yourself because is not a finished product yet and there is no guarantee it will be like how it looks like at the moment?
