Is there some way to make a virtual bank in discovery freelancer. I know some of us have trouble hauling around guns that we might use for pvp or npcs or other things. It might have been suggested before but i just wanna know if its possible, and if it would be good/bad. I'm not entirely sure. I can see how it would make pirating harder. But good for lawfuls to stop worrying so much.

The "Virtual Bank" is already a work in progress. For now, I would suggest to make a new character and use it as the bank

Indeed it is. Using the /givecash command
/givecash <name> <amount>
For example:
/givecash Linkero 1000000
The minimum limit is 10,000. You can send it to offline characters, characters on your current account, and other online characters.

I guess that would make the game too easy guys. Set up one char as trader to finance another military or pirate char.

Thats what most of us do. I use my trader to fund all my other accounts and the pirates that get me. The rest I give to people that need it(few friends I have or some random person I meet)

Well, I didn't realize this before and spent a 2 days to buy an Executioner(costs 1020K along with loadouts).
But this idea is a really big feature and would be difficult to implement.

other mods have managed this, and they have a 3% surcharge on all withdrawals from the bank of the account

On a server where I am an Admin, there is a virtual bank. It works like this:
Player creates a bank character and on the forum there is a bank section where the account is shown.
Player can make transfers to an Admin to the bank and the Admin can check on the forum the account name to see the amount in it when player wishes to withdraw cash.....
