Restarts and previously explored space/bases - Curtain Jerker - 01-21-2015 Hey all, First of all, I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place for this message. My question is this...let us say I have a character who has explored much of the sector, say for example the Omegas. Let's say I want to restart that character to a member of a lawful faction who would not get the Omegas mapped out on restart, say for example the LSF/LPI/LN or KNF or GRN or whomever. On the restart, do I lose all the information in my star map that that character has previously explored? Like, if I restarted as a LSF, would I lose the info about Omega-5 (for example...this is a hypothetical) that that character had previously had? Or would I get the LSF restart map in addition to my character's previously explored map? Thanks in advance RE: Restarts and previously explored space/bases - HighHopes - 01-21-2015 You will lose all the information about the omegas (for example) and everything you have discovered. Plus you will lose all your money, weapons etc. on that character. You basically 'restart' your character to a new faction, with a new ID/IFF. Here is a full list with all the restarts. You will get the LSF ID/IFF and the map of that restart you've chosen. Have fun! RE: Restarts and previously explored space/bases - Krmloo - 01-21-2015 When you use /restart command, your character's info (except name) is overwritten with restart info. So yes, you will lose that map. RE: Restarts and previously explored space/bases - Curtain Jerker - 01-21-2015 Thanks for the replies and info! |
