I was on death_man, and I was doing the diamond run from berlin trade rout, and I go...No pirates anywhere... I haven't been on-on (like just checking in, and flying to another system before getting off) Can someone fill me in? did GMG finally do something about em?

That does seem to happen on occasion, especially at strange times of day. But then before long, a few will return.

Yep, on occasion, I guess you mean the time zones. At one time of the day, there are loads of pirates traders and the other half, there are lawfuls, who are on duty for no reason!!!

If it makes you feel better, I'll keep my pirate posted in sigma 13, and run from every fight, just so I can pirate everyone.

I will keep one of my pirates in sig-13 so I can pirate you when you're on...if it will keep you happy?

It probably is the time zones, when I had my old job I was playing very late (for my time zone) and there were like 25-50 people on. Most of them were in NY. It all depends on when you play. But if it will make you feel better, Ill make sure I get on more to pirate you.

Actually the GMG tolerate us. We keep the Rheinland traders thinned a bit.
But more to the point about fewer pirates. I used to fly my pirate (Black.Pearl) almost exclusively. But with all the encounters with traders who like to watch "Heroes" while they build their cash pool, bounty hunters in battle cruisers and {RaVeN}'s ... its been getting a bit tiring.
As a result, I've created a few new characters that I'm trying to develop. Unfortunately ... certain characters keep getting in the way of that. Kinda hard to do anything without "their" approval.

Yeah ... another reason piracy is dwindling. There are two types on Dicso
1) Those that say, "Hey ... where are the pirates?"
2) Those that say, "Pirates are getting in my way."
