Hello.
Recently started here but am finding it hard to make money. I currently have a Rhino ship that a player suggested i buy and trade silver with but i have yet to find anywhere that i can make a good profit from it. Can anyone suggest any tips for me please, any nice trade routes for a new player etc.

This really should be in the welcome topic, but welcome anyway. About your trading problem, try luxury food from New London/Cambridge to Manhattan, I think the profit on that is about 900 per unit, but the food is perishable so try to buy the food in bulk to minimise losses (its about 200 each on new London I think)

go to the asteroid fields in Colorado and shoot at the smaller ones. you will then be able to stock up a lot and sell them in NY at the best location

Best location is actually Cali Minor, in California.

For the length, you may as well just go in the Silverton Asteroid Field (Colorado, south of Pueblo station) and mine silver there, then go to New York and sell your load at Planet Manhattan. Worked for me when I just started out:D

Boron from Pittburgh to LD-14 is fairly easy, short. and fetches a nice profit.

Or you can take advantage of the mod before 4.85 comes out and buy Niobium an NT, travel to The Ring and sell it. Buy Diamonds from NB, which is right next to the Ring and sell it at NT.
(However, most people will consider you a power-trader if you do so, so it is best to keep it on the down low.)
