Basically this happened:
Get signed out due to update - do update - it doesnt log me back in automatically - forget password - try recover via email - sends me to microsoft recovery - rekt
So now I've made a new one and I lost all contacts and chats. Since most people don't have it in their profiles - Please PM me skypenames so I can re-add people, or post them here.

I suggest you downgrading the skype version and trying it again.

It happened to me once too, how are you unable to restore it? Hm... Let me check something

Edit2: It's part of my job as a computer technician to recover some of the lost passwords for some software. I had few folks who forgot their Skype usernames and passwords but I was able to restore it with their email

Yeah tried it have support running on it, they answered me once and had me do the verification again, back when I made this skype it all worked over skypename, andn ow it uses email and it sends me to mircosoft account passwordchanges

Try on a mobile device. Its only windows that forces you to use hotmail i think

I've tried the mobile, but I wasn't signed in there, I've got the support ticket going right now, waiting on it.

I had the same, but prolly even worse.
When I was logging into the skype, it's just turned on infiniti loading window. I have re-installed Skype and everything goes well after all.
