Current situation in Leeds:
Enemy forces confirmed in disarray in Leeds orbit, many units were damaged in the last raid. Whichever admiral decided to break it off for a moment did good, enemy is pulling back their ships to Stokes for maintenance.
Possibility: Enemy is either stretched thin or expecting a strategic gambit, enemy defence reinforcements are not arriving at Oubli. Enemy might be reinforcing flanks to avoid pincer movement from our side.
Suggestion: Deliver killing blow to Oubli at specified time, before the enemy realises there is no gambit and calls the bluff. There is a clear window of opportunity open for us, we just have to use it.

LOCATION: Leeds, Battleship Oubli
SYNOPSIS: The Liberty Navy mobilises for a final strike against the Battleship Oubli. It will be up to the Gallia Royal Navy to rush to Oubli's defence and ensure their enemies pay a heavy price for this attempt.

OBJECTIVES:
- TEAM A:
- Approach Battleship Oubli in Leeds orbit, and destroy it.
- Destroy the Royal Navy reinforcements that arrive to bolster the defence.
- Approach Battleship Oubli in Leeds orbit, and destroy it.
- TEAM B:
- Mobilise from Stokes as quickly as possible.
- Defend the Battleship Oubli from the Liberty Navy attack.
- Mobilise from Stokes as quickly as possible.
OUTCOMES:
- TEAM A Victory:
- Battleship Oubli is destroyed, and the GRN forces stationed at Leeds receive a blow that they will have to work to recover from.
- Battleship Oubli is destroyed, and the GRN forces stationed at Leeds receive a blow that they will have to work to recover from.
- TEAM B Victory:
- Battleship Oubli is damaged in the resulting fighting and has to temporarily retreat, but the GRN stranglehold on Leeds is only slightly dented.

Flow of events:
At the start of the event TEAM B will be at Stokes Mining Facility in Leeds, undergoing maintenance and repairs. TEAM A will use that fact to move in towards the Battleship Oubli undetected and lay siege to it, which will alert the defenders. TEAM B will then have to scramble from Stokes to Leeds orbit to intercept the attack of TEAM A, and ensure that the Oubli will not be destroyed.
Battleship Oubli will be moved slightly away from Leeds just before the event, but will still be in sensor range. The Battleship will be set to vulnerable from the moment of the start of the event, but will require substantial firepower to be destroyed.
Midway Depot has been hastily assembled into place by the Liberty Navy close to the battle as a staging area:

The initial phase of the battle will last for 30 minutes during which people can respawn to rejoin the fight. After 30 minutes are up, standard PvP rules will be restored and all who die will need to vacate the system. This period may be extended depending on circumstances.
Important information:
Admins will be present to enforce rules and ensure smoothness. NPC fleets may be used during the event in case of an imbalance of teams. If you are a faction leader and want to discuss this event or its details, please contact me on skype.
