POB: specific function Admins? - Alestone - 07-06-2015
Is it possible to make a class of POB admins that can only manipulate one aspect of the base, such white/black lists or commodities?
This could allow the owner to give rights to people such as law enforcement to deny docking rights, or to give specific individuals the ability to set prices and/or volumes on the base.

Neat tool, definitely. Idea: This could be a "Director" rank instead with a dedicated password.
This is quite useful if we consider that the server admins do not examine any reports which have to do with intentional misuse of a player's privileges to a PoB.

No Idea how or if it could be programmed, but the ability to assign or to deny functions to a tier 2 Password is great.
- docking settings
- blacklist / whitelist
- factory module commands
- changing trade list
- infocard
- bank withdraw / deposit
If as user of the master password I could for excemple deny banking access and trade list changes, I would have no great problems with passing on passwords.

Since Alley left the devteam you shouldn't be expecting these features for a while, she was contributing a lot to the flhook plugin probably the main coder around. About possibility; it looks possible tho

Sure it's possible, but it isn't really something that's needed. As a base owner, I'd love to have these features too, but the current password system works fine and there's no real need to add all these fancy features.

From what I can see it all looks like that the dev team is in need of some kinda management to lead the way. However, I guess someone already found an internal solution for that problem
