The HMS-Adlington was built to serve as a forward warning in the Taus, as tensions already began rising between Bretonia and Kusari. The ship was stationed in Tau 23, commanded by Captain William Jameson, its crew sat idly in the system in a location between planet Harris and Tau 29. Once the Tau War began however, the ships role quickly changed to a Forward Assault Perspective. The Adlington spent the majority of its service fighting in the Tau's against the Kusaran Imperials. However its first fights were only minor skirmishes at its post in the System. Once Kusari moved its fleet into Tau-31 the Adlington was forced to retreat as the fleet appeared on scanners. The ship was lucky to make it out, once it limped back to New London the ship was out of commission for 2 years whilst it had major repairs done to her hull and interior. At the turn of 816 A.S the ship roared back into the open battlefield to defend Bretonia. While the Adlington was stationed in Bretonia the Kusarans breached the Jumpgate and ravaged Leeds. The ship was called to a retreat at the homespace back in New London. The Adlington was stationed near the Leeds Jumphole in New London, and from here the ship beat back raids from Kusari scouting parties on the system.Whilst the Captain wished to be pushed towards the offensive the ship remained station in New London for the Remainder of the war, and today watches as the newer Gallic threat inches closer to New London. Nowadays the ship is stationed to patrol the Northwestern area of New London, with her aging Core and need of maintenance the ship continues its usual duty. The commanding Officer of the Adlington has requested several times a position to the limited offensive on the Gallics in Leeds. The Crown has continued to deny the requests of this until the ship has been properly scheduled her service maintenance. Bollocks I tell you, as old as this ship is, she faces a new threat each day. Upon a standard routine check on the nebula of the Leeds system, our early warning system in New London found a whole force of the frogs jumpin into our very Home. Lucky for me, the Old girl Adlington was the quickest ship available... Needless to say, the ship will be in the yard a few weeks more than I thought, the Valor landed a critical hit near the reactor, Mrs. Hardcastle was injured down there but no crew were seriously hurt. Regarding Adlington. The reactor is shot, a huge explosion caved out a literal cave in the back of the ship, and all systems are offline for now. Lucky the Crown managed to get her fixed, otherwise she wouldn't fly another day. Ill remember that bloody name next time I see it... the Royal Vaquelin... won't be flying for those frogs much longer... suppose it's nice though to tell people a bit more of my story, good to remind myself too. managed to salvage Adlington's audio logs from before the reactor hit, i'll probably find a spot for it in here eh?

A request I've been lookin forward to getting approved quite some time since I commanded the Adlington. Crown finally approved the first of two hanger bays, as well as the actual docking bay. To be installed shortly, the docking bay and first hanger are already installed, now we wait for the final hanger bay to be implemented. Then the ship can serve as an actual operating base once more. Since the original bay was removed after she was battered in Tau-31. I'm proud to have the ships glory finally coming back. for future use I'm including database files of the ship with its first implemented hanger and the docking bay.

A quite long time since I was able to do one of these logs... Perhaps its a sign of just how quiet Bretonia has gotten, how quiet our crew specifically have gotten... A monotonous day to day duty, makes me wonder what I'm fighting for... It seems as if even the pride of our Armed Forces has lost a resolve to fight, the Crown trying to balance funding its meager military force and maintaining public morale... Perhaps there is nothing left in Bretonia for this shi-... Bah! What do I speak of? Bretonia is strong, capable of fighting this war... right?
