Dear Fleet Admiral Michelle O'Brien, honourable High Command,

It has been a long time since the last roll call and I am pleased to see that they still exist. I am, nevertheless, disappointed because personnel as highly ranked as Admirals are also required to report. There is few of us and I am certain that everyone would notice if any of us were missing. Besides that, an Admiral is often very busy and taking the time to report for a roll call can force us to execute our war plans rashly.
I will, however, report because it is my duty towards Bretonia, if the High Command say so. After that, I will be taking a ten day vacation which Fleet Admiral O'Brien has promised me. Thank you, Fleet Admiral, it is much appreciated.

Adolf sat next to the PDA, looking down on it like he was sinking. Slowly, the form seemed to fill itself. Paperwork is a terrible thing. But corsairs and gallics are worse.

Angus snorted as the call came over the intercom and woke him from the most splendid dream he was having (something about a woman on a beach and a bathtub filled with whisky).

"What the devil?!"

"Sorry to disturb you sir, but there's an urgent message coming in from Admiral Davis. I put it through to your quarters."

"Oh, uh thank you Commander, that will do."

Angus walked over to his desk and brought up the message?

"A bloody roll call? What don't they think we're doing out here in Dublin, singing and dancing?"

He filled out the form, returned the transmission to the Admiral.
