Feedback Wanted - Connor - 08-12-2015 Hey. So, I have been doing some media work recently for Freelancer, I quite enjoy it and I've been liking the support I've had for me to carry on. I've been in the process of making a new video for a while and I'd like some feedback on it. This video is for the Crown Services. This is basically BMM and Bowex. It's meant to show off who we are and what we do as the two factions, kinda like a trailer. This has been in the works for a long time now, yet only just over a half of it is done. I've still got fight scenes to add and maybe a few more calmer scenes to add in but I'd like some feedback on what I have so far. I'm looking for constructive feedback please! There's a fairly large gap about 3/4 way through this, more fight scenes are intended to go there. This has been uploaded in 720p for the moment, the final version will be in 1080p and will be rendered with my dads high spec computer. Two songs I use are: Avicii - Waiting For Love (Intro) Alan Walker - Force RE: Feedback Wanted - Corile - 08-12-2015 Quote:Avicii - Waiting For Love (Intro)I'd suggest not using any copyrighted material. But it is some pretty nice stuff. RE: Feedback Wanted - Wesker - 08-12-2015 It's terrible, stop making videos. Jk [: RE: Feedback Wanted - Connor - 08-12-2015 (08-12-2015, 08:41 PM)Protégé Wrote:Quote:Avicii - Waiting For Love (Intro)I'd suggest not using any copyrighted material. Thank you. With regards to the copyright issue. I have't done much research into it but if I've brought the song, can I use it? Also, I thought if credit was given it'd be okay? Euh, I don't know. If it does cause an issue I can find another song to replace it with. RE: Feedback Wanted - Corile - 08-12-2015 Quote:Thank you. With regards to the copyright issue. I'd suggest looking for artists that are signed to small independent labels (they are less likely to be able to takedown a video with their song), labels that are copyright friendly (Diversity, NoCopyrightSound etc.) or are independent artists themselves. RE: Feedback Wanted - SnakeLancerHaven - 08-12-2015 It's awesome, just put more in game sounds too, god how annoying it is when people just fully put an annoying Soundtrack and the taste of the good Video just evades. Use in game sounds too if possible. (With that I mean gun sounds/cruise etc.) RE: Feedback Wanted - Kanzler Niemann - 08-12-2015 Nice video Snoopy. RE: Feedback Wanted - Chuba - 08-12-2015 Is pretty good RE: Feedback Wanted - Coin - 08-13-2015 id turn off dust so that it doesnt give the horizontal rain effect. there's a little wriggle room for copyright under 'fair use' RE: Feedback Wanted - Pepe - 08-13-2015 I see no story in your beautiful video, Snoo. Ones that have never heard of Bowex and BMM would never guess they are companies. You should show mine/sell/buy somehow, in a way everyone would understand. I saw ships flying, I saw them shooting rocks, but it's not obvious why. Show how ore gets to cargo. Show Shires entering lanes are loaded. Show selling and getting credits, show buying something cheap and selling for profit in return. About security division part, make clear why are some ships shooting on other ships. It could be done in short sub-story form, show convoy that gets intercepted by bad guys, show their mighty guns as a threat, show security jumping in to help, show why players are shooting on each other in this game. Watching some company presentation videos might help you. Watch only ones without speech/text. It's not easy to send a corporative message without saying a word, not easy at all. It can't come over night, but thinking in that direction is a good start, mate. Your talent is obvious, now try to advance and sharpen your storytelling skills. With best intentions, Pepe |
