Ageira Innovations Disbandment Notice

I have started Ageira Innovations as a roleplay oriented side-project in February 2014, greatly favouring quality over quantity. It was really never my intention to turn Ageira~ into an official faction, knowing that usually associated burdens outweigh any real benefits. My primary intention was to create both interesting roleplay platform and unique gameplay experience. It was Snak3 though who through his exceptional dedication and unparalleled activity turned these concepts into relatively strong trading faction fielding almost impregnable convoys. Seeing this I stepped down and let Snak3 realize his own ambitions as a leader - amongst others achieving official status for the faction. Unfortunately, Ageira Innovations never reached the size and level of formal development to become an institution strong enough to survive prolonged leadership void. When Snak3 was banned in April 2015 for leaking uncomfortable evidence of the Administration Team less than pristine practices, I have formally taken over Ageira~ again in order to keep it alive until Snak3's return. Everybody in Ageira hoped that Snak3 will be unbanned earlier or - worst case scenario - in October. Unfortunately, contrary to our hopes, all Snak3's appeals have been rejected. With no able person interested to fuel this niche faction with activity, leadership and vision, I decided to formally pull the plug off. I want to use this occasion to express my anger with the administration team. Granted, Snak3 always was a controversial person - not knowing when to keep his thoughts to himself he earned a lot of hostility over the years. However, you must be blind to not see that this volcano of activity was doing ten times more good than bad to the game - even by the sheer amount of his gaming time. All blame for killing another faction and removing a community member who was always a strong activity magnet goes entirely to you Sirs!

The Lane Hackers Leadership Change Notice

First time I have joined The Lane Hackers in January 2011 and then taken it over from Xoria in summer 2012. Ever since The Lane Hackers were my primary hobby project to which I dedicated almost my entire free time and energy. For years I have been doing my best to keep the faction alive, to make it both challenging, attractive and unique to certain kind of players, and finally, to make it the most complex and immersive roleplay experience possible. However, during the year many rather positive developments in my life left me with virtually no free time for Discovery. I have been gradually limiting my forum and in-game presence to almost complete absence. I am no longer physically capable of leading the faction, inspiring its members and working on its development. Fortunately, unlike most leaders in similar situation, I have a natural successor who is a veteran member of the faction and has already proven that there are no better than him for the job - Goro Yoshida.

My retirement

I have been playing Freelancer online with several short breaks since 2005 and been here for more than half of this time. During this period I have got to know hundreds of interesting people, made handful of friendships and experienced great lot of unforgettable adventures. I do wish to thank you all for this. Funnily enough, while I could probably say that during my Freelancer career I have seen, done and achieved everything that there was, I am not burnt out or bored. I did not stop to love the game. I simply ran out of time for it. During the year I became a father of a certain little bossy lady, who with each month demands more and more of my attention and time, I finally bought a flat and finalized its repairs, as well as I got promoted to a lead developer at my work. I did not stop to love the game, but I simply reach a point in life when you move onto better and more important things.
