Formula for pricing commodities? - nOmnomnOm - 12-04-2015 Does someone know maybe what the formula would be for pricing the commodities we have? It's in terms of distance and the quality or status of the product right? Is it eye-balled to an extent though? Or is there some kind of math behind it? To Dev: Maybe I could use some help/assistance/advice?? :S RE: Formula for pricing commodities? - Thyrzul - 12-04-2015 The answers lie in a wall of text by Xoria somewhere in his Trade Dev Blog. RE: Formula for pricing commodities? - jammi - 12-04-2015 Xoria has a program to automatically generate most of the prices based on a desired profit/second rating. I'm not at home so I can't check right now, but a balanced commodity generally sits around 280 cents per second if I remember rightly. The only prices that are inconsistently 'eyeballed' are ores because Xoria and the economy devs don't handle them. Edit the red numbers in the link below for an easy, maths free solution: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17ysvbSr0j6JjfZ5ic3HR7E5j3ioRAr7yDRn6BmRrdDo/edit?usp=docslist_api RE: Formula for pricing commodities? - nOmnomnOm - 12-04-2015 Yep thx. Need it for my pricing
