Regarding server rule 3. - RP must be done in system or local chat? - DragonLancer - 12-19-2015

"Halt" on its own is not a demand, however, a trade vessel can be destroyed if they refuse to stop after being asked to in the form of a proper demand.
3.4 Fleeing from combat and then docking at a station or planet while you are in 10k range of the ship you were fighting counts as PvP death. Freighters and transports in this case may return to the system for the sole purpose of trading.
3.5 Roleplay is required before attacking or destroying a player owned base. The roleplay regarding this must be properly documented on forums, with the link(s) posted in this thread and should match the roleplay and conduct of the characters involved based on the faction they belong to.

Recently someone who's on my ignore list for private chat started some shooting but there was no system or local chat by him.
I guess he addressed me on private chat.

Now after checking the rules I think there should be an addition that roleplay is required to be done in system or local chat.

These private chat stalkers are really annoying I have to say.

I agree with you. These private chat stalkers are a pain. I've been through what you just described but I figured out the player was on my ignore list because I can't forget who I add to ignore list. Great feature that is !

Or were you not in a trade vessel?

Not relevant if the ship being attacked isn't a trade vessel. Surely it'd make sense to standardise the local / system requirement across all engagement rules instead of some but not others?
