XP Themes - Benford Calvert - 11-03-2008 The title says it all. But for those who want to read it again I use a shared computer and have been seeing all the cool themes out there for xp and was thinking I want one but I only want it on my login on the computer. Is this possible if so what themes do you recommended? And are there any performance downsides to using advance themes? The computer is fairly old so I don't want to overload it. Thanks in advance XP Themes - 13CentKiller - 11-03-2008 Themes use more memory and slow down the start-up speed of your computer. Stardock to name one of many. I like the AlienWare skins. Its called AlienGuise. Very cool:) XP Themes - Benford Calvert - 11-03-2008 yeah the Alien ware ones do look good. But can you have a theme only on one login?????? otherwise the other questions are pointless XP Themes - 13CentKiller - 11-03-2008 You can have 1 theme per login. I had a regular skin on my Administrators account, and my younger brother had a Vista transformation pack myself and sister went with an AlienWare skin. Hope that answers your question:) XP Themes - Benford Calvert - 11-03-2008 Yes it does. :yahoo:Thank you!:yahoo: Now my only problem is choosing which Alienware one I want. |
