I've looked everywhere on the forum and may have missed a thread about it but my question is as such. Is there a way to transfer equipment between your own characters. I want to create a storage character to store all my important equipment on, is there a command or something that I could use to transfer from one character to another?
I don't want to have to ask other players to hold the equipment for me so I can swap characters. Is there a way I could possibly do this on my own?

Unless you multibox, no. There is no command for transferring equipment, it's only doable via manual transfers from one ship to another.

Or you build a pob. That seems like a very excessive way to exchange equipment though. I believe Laz was selling one though.

Eject gear into space in conn, swap characters, maybe it'll still be there.

Step one, make a friend. Forcefully if necessary.
Step two, ask them to help with the transfer.

You can move cash and ships, but not equipment. Go figure.

No one really cares. Conn made transfers quick and easy.

Yes 400mil is a tad bit excessive.

You can just ask someone in the forum char to help you. I never had someone steam from me during a transfer. Hell, one time in conn a BS flew next to me and just said "Can you hold this CAU8 please?".

I accidentally threw the wrong person 260 mil. Got it back immediately. Left him 20 for giving it back though.
If you don't know anyone yet ask an Angel. If they steal from you we can give up anyways.
